Nares Sukcharoen, MD is the President of Thai Society of Reproductive Medicine (TSRM) and Country Representative ASPIRE (Asia Pacific Initiative in Reproductive Endocrinology), ASFP (Asian Society of Fertility Preservation). He is also the Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, THAILAND.
Professor Nares Sukcharoen obtained BSc (Hons.) and MD (Hons.) from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, THAILAND in 1983 and received his Obstetrics and Gynaecology certification from King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, THAILAND, in 1988. He worked at Simpson Memorial Maternity Pavillion and Royal Infirmary Edinburgh as honorary registra and studied at Centre of Reproductive Biology, Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, University of Edinburgh as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellowship from 1995-1996.
His main research interests have been in Andrology, ART and fertility preservation. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles as well as 30 book chapters on human reproduction, andrology and reproductive endocrinology and 2 books published as editor. He is the previous Editor of Thai Journal of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Journal of Medical Association Thailand.
